Terms & Conditions

  • ADS will be the sole responsive service provider for planning & designing, Installation and maintenance once the quotation given for any work and terms and conditions have been accepted and the contract has been signed. We shall be entitled to assign all or any of its rights to perform any of its obligations through sub-contractors with the prior written consent of the company.
  • We are responsible for the completion of work and hand it over in working order.
  • Once the installation is completed and if you are satisfied, then you will be asked to sign the ‘SIGN-OFF FORM’.
  • If any fault or issue found which was caused by an error in the installation and reported at your earliest within the first four weeks, it will be repaired or replaced at the company’s expense, including call-out. Any fault or damage caused not because of fault in our work and Maintenance/repairs/trouble-shooting after the expiration of first four week period will be charged.
  • The quoted costs may be revised if:
  • Deadline has been shortened or the work to be carried out more urgently than agreed.
  • If our work is interrupted or delayed because of a problem with access, or the electricity supply is inadequate or interruption was not caused from our side, then we may charge extra.
  • Specification has been changed after the agreement.
  • Access to doors, shutters, windows or any other areas were denied or were not accessible at the time of installation where cables and equipment needs to be installed thereby incurring extra cable length or extra labor work.
  • Unsuitability of your premises for the equipments where the work to be carried out or difficulty in installing the security / alarm system as planned or any similar circumstances were not apparent on the specifications and during the conversation or discussion.
  • Any other circumstances that we were not aware of, not mentioned in writing when the quotation was supplied and arise. This includes:
  • Re-Configuration of the system and repair / replace of a device where re-visits of the installer/technicians/engineers is required.
  • Request has been made by the customer to work outside the working hours which are normally 09:00 – 17:30 on weekdays except statutory holidays will incur additional charges.
  • Remote viewing where the customer is responsible for the access to internet service provider’s router that provides the ‘Port-Forwarding’ functions and a public (static) IP address.
  • It was asked to work outside the standard practices of installations where installation is to be done in hardly accessible areas or additional labor work is required like underground cabling, redecoration, building work, removal of floor boards, carpet lifting / laying, Erecting poles, steel capping, exceptionally high ceilings and drilling through walls thicker than 300mm.

The above will incur additional charges will be agreed by the company representative(s) if required.

  • It is your responsibility to allow workers to access to your premises to survey, measure, install, and test and service the equipment. Also you are responsible to provide an adequate electricity supply for the equipment to operate correctly.
  • We are not liable if completion is delayed due to the circumstances beyond our control. By agreeing our terms and conditions, you guarantee that you have full authority to allow the installation and no other consent is needed.
  • Once the agreement is made, we are irrevocably authorized to enter your premises and to remove the equipment without notice, if payment for the equipments and installation remains outstanding.
  • Any cancellation of the contract less than a week (7 calendar days) from the signed date before the scheduled installation date may be chargeable if any equipment was bought for your premises. However, a minimum of £150 or 10% of the contracted amount, whichever is greater, shall be charged as a general cancellation fee on top of that.
  • If any fault is reported, we guarantee that we will replace or repair providing there is no evidence of customer misuse or alteration of any device or configuration within 1 year of purchase, unless otherwise specified. However if it is found that we are not liable for the fault shall be chargeable accordingly.
  • You will be requested to provide as much information as possible regarding the fault, as well as the original invoice or delivery note number.
  • If we are unable to configure the remote viewing on the day of the scheduled installation due to IT technical issues, ISP unavailability or lack of details such as Router IP address, user name & password and revisit the premises or remote viewing is required, then it will be charged separately.
  • We are not responsible for any issues such as change of router, failed connection and change of Internet service provider, re-set of router, new mobile phone, and loss of settings on the router or a new operating system. It will be charged accordingly if revisit the site or remote viewing is required.
  • Any fault or damage of equipment which results from fire, electrical power surge, storm, flood, accident, neglect, misuse or malicious damage will be charged according to the cost of any work and we shall not be liable for any repairs or replacement of equipment.
  • ADS do not warrant or represent that the operation of the installation will be uninterrupted or error free. Therefore we shall not liable if there is any interruption beyond the control.
  • ADS only provide the systems and services to assist in the security of the premises but do not thereby warrant the security of the property, the customer, or the contents therein. Therefore ADS will not act and shall not be deemed to act as an insurer of the property or contents contained therein
  • ADS give no warranty that by virtue of the installation of the system, the property or contents contained therein are completely secure or inviolable.
  • We shall have no liability in contract for any loss suffered and in particular we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any consequential loss or damage (including loss of earnings or profits) which may arise from any malfunction or defect of the system.
  • The Terms and Conditions mentioned here do not affect your rights under the Sale of Goods Act or Unfair contract Terms Act.
  • We shall not be responsible for any failure to fulfill any of its obligations due to reasons beyond its control.
